The Organization
The Town of Sandwich is
a seaside community of about 22,000 residents located in the northwestern
corner of Cape Cod in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Incorporated in
1639, Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod and one of the oldest towns in
the United States, settled nearly 150 years before the American Revolution.
Its rich history is still apparent within the present day modern community,
both architecturally and communally, making Sandwich an attractive place to
both visit and to live.
Many of Sandwich’s REALTORS®
call this beautiful community home. Some have been life-long Cape Codders
and have raised their families here. Others have chosen Sandwich as their
home, mesmerized by its ideal location, charm and uniqueness. All have
contributed individually in a variety of ways to making their community an
even better place to live.
In 2004, the local REALTORS®
got together and decided that promoting higher education collectively would
be a joint and unified way to support their favorite community. And so the
various real estate offices that get together weekly at their local MLS
meeting formed the Sandwich REALTORS®
Scholarship Fund.
The purpose of the fund and it’s scholarship is
two-fold: To support higher education by promoting interest in the
architectural and social history of the Town of Sandwich as reflected in the
town’s historic properties.
Most recently, in June 2017, The Sandwich REALTORS®
Scholarship Fund awarded three scholarships of $3,000 each to high school seniors or home schooled students who
were residents of Sandwich.

In June 2018 The Sandwich Realtors Scholorship Fund will be awarding three scholarships. To prepare for this event, the SRSF Committee, will hold their annual fund raising event, "SandBar Studio 2018", at Albertos Restaurante February 9th 2018. Please contact your local Realtor or one of the committee members for additional details.
Funds are raised by REALTORS®
personal contributions
and by well-organized community fund-raisers.
